Gus J. Sader
Managing Partner

Gus Sader, prior to joining H.A.S., has 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry and was the Principal and Owner of Hotel Asset Services, a hotel / motel management and consulting company. Sader contracted with most of the large institutional lenders with hospitality portfolios such as Cathay Bank, AMRESCO, Wells Fargo, Great Western Bank, Bank of America, and many others. Sader's specialty is operations and how to efficiently and effectively manage a property from a day to day basis in order to achieve specific goals set for a property. Sader has been involved in rehabilitation projects of up to $1,000,000 in capital improvements.

Gus Sader is currently responsible for the daily operations of the properties under H.A.S.'s management. Sader works closely with the owners and strategically sets management goals and oversees the implementation of these plans. When necessary Sader will be on location until the property is stabilized and maximizing cash flows.

Gus J. Sader has an outstanding and remarkable background in banking as well as hotel management and administration in eight countries. Mr. Sader and his firm, Hotel Asset Services, have had national and international asset management experience, specializing in hotels, resorts, apartment buildings and banks. His emphasis is on profit and loss responsibilities, financial analysis, business plans, growth, sales and pricing strategies, hospitality and overall operations.

Mr. Sader is a cost-efficient problem solver, resourceful, motivational pursuasive, and sensitive. He effectively utilizes information, establishes priorities, coordinates major projects effectively, forsees problem situations while meeting stringent objectives, and has the ability to effectively initiate, direct, and effect change.

Stephen C. Kerch
Managing Partner

Stephen Kerch, prior to joining H.A.S., has a successful track record for his own company Kerch & Associates, established in 1985. His responsibilities include direct supervision / general management of multiple real estate portfolios and investments. He is responsible for the analysis, syndication, and development of various projects involving commercial, retail, and hospitality properties.

Stephen Kerch is currently responsible for the investor relations, syndication, and financial analysis for H.A.S. He is additionally responsible for the acquisition and disposition of the properties for H.A.S.'s clients. He works very closely with the general operations of the subject properties to enhance the value and maximize the returns of those properties under H.A.S.'s management.

Otto Lissfield
Vice President - Operations

Otto Lissfield, prior to joining H.A.S., has had a tremendous operational track record working for several organizations such as Penta Hotels, Hyatt International, Holiday Inns International, Choice Hotels International, Park Plaza International Hotels and Resorts, Greystone Hospitality Management, Inc., etc. In all assignments Lissfield acted as the General Manager or Vice President of Operations, commencing in 1974.

Currently Otto Lissfield is our key operations manager specializing in property takeovers where his extensive hospitality experience may be utilized by our clients to maximize the value of their properties. Lissfield works on location as the General Manager or where deemed most appropriate. Lissfield has a successful track record in people management, profit improvement, and the implementation of operational and financial strategies.

Thomas K. Bell, CHA
Vice President - Project Management

Thomas K. Bell, prior to his affiliation with H.A.S., has a 27 plus year career with a track record of practical hands-on problem solving experience backed by the technical knowledge which makes him a valuable asset / leader of any project. His experience in facilities management, property development and engineering allows him to consistently meet both budget and time-frame requirements.

Currently Bell is affiliated with H.A.S. on a contract basis. He is available for long or short term assignments. Bell has administered nearly 2 billion dollars in successful projects for such notable companies as: Forte Hotels, Inc., Northview Corporation, Fedmart Department Stores, Kroger Food Stores. Bell brings to H.A.S. the facility engineering and technical services that will be a value to our client / portfolio.
